I have several sub instances that will not load any chartbooks or charts. Instances 1 through 6 are working and a couple of the higher instances will load charts & chartbooks. Instance 7 & 8 will not load anything. Updated to the current version. Shut down and restarted many times. I did try to load a basic ES chart. I did translate symbols to current service. I did roll contracts to current month. I did start in safe mode with no charts opened at start. How can I get these instances to work again I will send the log report Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-03-23 13:57:01

The log file you sent does not show any issues. In fact, it shows charts opened and data being downloaded. But, it also shows that the "Current Selected Service" is set to "Teton CME Routing". If this is an actual sub-instance, then this should be set to "DTC Sub-Instance". Is that log actually from the sub-instance, or from the main instance? If it is from the sub-instance, then how are you starting the sub-instances? Are you starting the main instance first, and then selecting "File >> Sub-Instance"? I sent the log file for instance 7. It is set to DTC Sub Instance Yes, opening all instances from the MAIN Instance. Tried a simple ES chart and to open a chart book from the existing instance and the main instance. Thanks |

There are three logs in your account at this time: - 2026-03-23 13:56:10: Shows the "Current Selected Service" as "Teton CME Routing". So this could not be from Sub-Instance 7. - 2026-03-23 15:09:39: Has a note that this is from Sub-Instance 7, but there is nothing in the log itself. - 2026-03-23 15:16:40: Same as the one above. Please do a Copy and Paste of the information from the Message Log for Sub-Instance 7 to this thread. We do not know why the log is not coming across properly in our system, but it is not for some reason. I just opened sub instance #7 and the message log window is completely blank no text at all. I then tried to open a new intraday chart for the MNQ and the message log window is still blank. Same thing with sub instance #8 Will do a remote session if needed. Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-03-23 20:41:48

In that Sub-Instance, make sure the option for "Window >> Disable Visible Message Logging" is not enabled. Then go to "Global Settings >> Message Categories" and make sure everything in that window is set to "Yes". Then see if the Message Log is still blank (it should not be). Would it fix it if I deleted the Sub Instance Folders? Thanks |

There is no need to delete the sub-instance folders. We are not sure what the OpenGL issue would be. What exactly were you seeing in the charts? We do not see any errors that would mean that you are not getting any data. In fact, just the opposite - the log shows that a connection is made and historical data is being backfilled. The only thing we see are items like the following: 2026-03-23 14:39:22.127 | NQM26_FUT_CME/MNQM26_FUT_CME [CBV] 30 Min #11 | Error while getting daily settlement price with date 2026-03-20 from file.
This means that the Daily Historical data file is missing, corrupted, or doesn't have the correct data. You would want to select the charts where you are having an issue with Continuous Contracts, and select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". Then on the window that comes up to select the contracts, select the button for "Select All". And then select the checkbox for "Download for Daily Data Files Only", then select "OK". This will redownload the daily historical data, which hopefully will resolve the Continuous Contract issue. If not, then you would need to make sure the data exists in the main instance by doing the same thing in the main instance (open a chart for the symbol if needed). Then do the process again in the sub-instance. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I think the Open GL Driver update done a while back caused the problem. Support did a remote session and could not determine the problem with open GL. AMD 31.0.21924.61 Radeon RX 580 Series I may attempt to install and run the: AMD Cleanup Utility and roll back the driver. When I stopped open GL on the Global Graphics/Other settings the instances are working. It is disabled on all Instances now. |

There was another report of an issue with OpenGL on the latest NVDIA driver. When they rolled back the driver, the problem went away.
