There is no need to delete the sub-instance folders. We are not sure what the OpenGL issue would be. What exactly were you seeing in the charts? We do not see any errors that would mean that you are not getting any data. In fact, just the opposite - the log shows that a connection is made and historical data is being backfilled. The only thing we see are items like the following: 2026-03-23 14:39:22.127 | NQM26_FUT_CME/MNQM26_FUT_CME [CBV] 30 Min #11 | Error while getting daily settlement price with date 2026-03-20 from file.
This means that the Daily Historical data file is missing, corrupted, or doesn't have the correct data. You would want to select the charts where you are having an issue with Continuous Contracts, and select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". Then on the window that comes up to select the contracts, select the button for "Select All". And then select the checkbox for "Download for Daily Data Files Only", then select "OK". This will redownload the daily historical data, which hopefully will resolve the Continuous Contract issue. If not, then you would need to make sure the data exists in the main instance by doing the same thing in the main instance (open a chart for the symbol if needed). Then do the process again in the sub-instance. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
