I want to create both a 3:2:1 & 5:3:2 crude crack spreads to display on a quote board. I don't want to chart it out, I only want to see the quotes. How would I go about creating this so that it will display on a quote board? Thanks, |

1) Global Settings >> Symbol Settings 2) Check the 'Use Custom Symbol Settings Values' box above the Symbols list. 3) Click 'New' for a new custom symbol: Enter the following symbol for the 3:2:1 Crack Spread: (84*{RB-202605-NYMEX}+42*{HO-202605-NYMEX}-3*{CL-202605-NYMEX})/3. The symbols shown are for Interactive Brokers. Substitute the symbols you use for 'Denali' or other data feeds. 5:3:2 Crack Spread Symbol: (126*{RB-202605-NYMEX}+84*{HO-202605-NYMEX}-5*{CL-202605-NYMEX})/5 Formulas Used: 3:2:1 Crack Spread: (2 RB (2*42) + 1 HO (1*42) - 3 CL)/3 5:3:2 Crack Spread: (3 RB (3*42) + 2 HO (2*42) - 5 CL)/5 Note: RB contract: 42000 Gallons, HO contract: 42000 Gallons, CL Contract: 1000 Barrels. 4) Make sure the 'Use Formula Operators' field is set to 'yes' under settings.
