Cannot customize the colors in the Chart Drawing shortcut menu

After right clicking on the drawing in the chart drawing (in this case a horizontal line) and I press the Chart Drawing Properties button expecting the Define Custom Colors button the 8 colors selection box as defined in the documentation does not appear. Instead I see the horizontal line property box with the ability to change color through that box only. What am I doing wrong here.

I may have not worded my question correctly. I found the documentation you referred to in your post. However, when I get to the color menu with the 8 color choices/buttons, there is no way to click on a color and get the customization window as described in the documentation to pop up. Instead I get or directly goes to the previously shown/attached screenshot menu.

You can not change the colors from the "Color" selection on the right-click menu. The instructions state the following: Right-click on a Chart Drawing and select Chart Drawing Properties So you need to select "Chart Drawing Properties" which is above the "Color" item in your menu as you have it shown in the image. Then select the "Color" in that window, which will bring up the Windows color picker. Follow the rest of the instructions from there. This is the menu that arrives when I proceed as instructed. When I select the color from the menu it does change the line color but not any of the 1 thru 8 colors on the shortcut menu. Still very confused.

Am I to understand that there is no way to change these 8 color choices ??? They are unchangeable ???
