Moin Moin.
I do have an "initialization error" "error starting network socket core" directly after update to newest version.
Moving the "c:\SierraChart" directory to a new location, and re-installing SC works, until I try to copy over
c:\SierraChart\Sierra4.config
Do You have a means to reinstall SC64 with all of my settings, in order to make this work.
_Cheers,
__Michael.

P.S.: Does "c:\SierraChart\Sierra4.config" contain private information. If not, I can load it up.

P².S.: Generally I have configured quite a lot to download market-depth data so, that it does allow a playback. If there is an easier way to do that, then, let us do this globally. I have recopied the "c:\SierraChart\KeyboardShortcuts4.config", which does not work, and I do not know, that I did with the other configs.
Can I get a list of changes from.:
1. "c:\SierraChart\Sierra4.config",
2. "c:\SierraChart\KeyboardShortcuts4.config"
somehow, and reconfigure those manually. Is there a change-dump--tool.
P³.S.: Right now, I do not know, how to draw a right-side extended rectangle with a keyboard-stroke and the color-settings I had, because I do not know how I found this stuff in the first place.
Hitting Alt-H does not anymore allow me to move the chart in Y-direction.
It is like SC had been brainwashed and is difficult to use now.

Are you certain that the issue is related to your Sierra4.config file? If you remove that file, everything works properly, but if you copy it from your old installation, you get that error?

Does the old installation work with that config file?

There are backups of that file made. Try using one of the backup files and see if you can get one of them to work for you. Refer to the following:

P.S:: Yesss. After today's update the backupfile from 2026-01-19 does crash SC64.
The current file does not.
Can I extract the needed configs from the old file with one of Your tools. Right now, it is almost impossible to use SC64 because what use to be 3 clicks are 20 now.
If there is now private info in it, I can send You both of the files.
How about a new SC64 version, that does also allow xml/json-config-files, which can be edited by anyone. Say, id the "Sierra4.config" file cnnot be found, then use "Sierra4.config.xml".

There is not a way to extract the data from a configuration file.

We do not have such a thing.

We recommend finding one of the backup files as we mentioned in post #4.
