Time & Sales window problems

I am running v2863 but I don't know if these issues are new or not because it's been many months since I tried to change the settings in any of my Time and Sales windows. I have several existing chartbooks that contain 1 chart with a Time and Sales window attached. I discovered this morning that I can no longer access the settings menu for those Time and Sales windows. Here is what I experience: 1. If I click the "Clear" button, the Time and Sales window is cleared as expected. 2. If I click the "Chart" button, nothing happens (I don't know what's supposed to happen, but there is no visible change that I can detect. I tried to check the help docs for info but couldn't find an explanation of this option - maybe it's too new for docs to be up do date yet?). 3. If I click "Settings" a list menu does appear, but if I click "Settings Window" from that list, nothing happens. Here are some solutions I have attempted so far: 1. tried detaching the T&S window to see if that made a difference but it did not. 2. tried detaching and closing the T&S window. Then used Chart>>Open Time and Sales Window to create a new one but that didn't resolve the issue. 3. tried detaching and closing the T&S window before saving and closing the chartbook. Then used Chart>>Open Time and Sales Window to create a new one but that didn't resolve the issue. 4. tried opening T&S windows on other charts in the chartbook in case it was a chart-specific issue, but no matter which chart I opened a T&S window for, I could not access the Settings Window for T&S. 5. tried removing all charts from the chartbook except for the one with the T&S window. Then saved the chartbook and attempted itmes 1-3 again. None of them resolved the issue. 6. tried removing every chart in the chartbook and used File>>New/Open Intraday Chart to create a new chartbook. I saved and closed the chartbook with only that single new chart in it. Then I opend the chartbook and used Chart>>Open Time and Sales Window. At that point, I was able to access the settings window for the T&S window I had opened. 7. tried going to one of my chartbooks that has never had a T&S window open in it. I was also able to open a new T&S window for a chart in that chartbook, and I had no issues accessing the Settings Window for T&S there either. At least for the moment, it appears I can only access the Settings Window for T&S if I am doing so from (a) a newly created chart or (b) an existing chart residing in a chartbook that has never had a T&S window opened in that chartbook before. I'm stumped. |

Go to the chart, the Time and Sales window is for and select Chart >> Reset Child Windows. The Time and Sales window will close. You will then be able to open the Settings window from the Time and Sales window menu. This activates the chart the Time and Sales window is for: 2.
