Hello, I have a problem with a window. I can click on on it, detach it, all good. But if I resize it or minimize it to fit it in the whole screen its gone and not there anymore. I am currently not at home and therefore just use my travel monitor so the size is smaller. maybe the window is somewhere on the "bigger screen" although it doesnt exist? I tried all kinds of restore window functions I see but nothing works. |

We are not understanding the flow in which "if I resize it or minimize it to fit it in the whole screen its gone and not there anymore". Is the window Attached or Detached at the point in which you try to resize it? When you try to resize it, where are you grabbing the edge? What happens when you do this? Is the chart disappearing when you click to grab an edge/corner? Is it doing something else? We need to understand the exact flow and what occurs. I updated now and tried what you suggested, problem still persists. Please check the screenshots. Once I open the market profile section I can view this window but then when I click resize or minimze to re drag the windows size to fit in with my other main tab/window its not there anymore and I think it might be still on "the bigger screen".

We are still not following exactly what is occurring and what window you are referring to. Is this the Minimized window that is showing in "1screen.png" and "2screen.png", but not in "3screen.png"? This is the small rectangle on top of the tabs or one of the actual charts? If a chart, which one is it? And what exactly is occurring? You state that when you try to "resize or minimize to re drag the windows size... its not there anymore". How does it disappear? Is it while you are interacting with the window, or after you finish? I cannot resize the "market profile blocks" market profile tab. I can only detach it. If I attach it again its not resizable and nowhere to find if I minimize it. This happened when I moved to a smaller monitor. I can only open it full size.

I cannot resize the "market profile blocks" market profile tab
There is no support for (nor has there even been support for) changing the size of the chart tabs. I can only detach it. If I attach it again its not resizable
This sounds normal. You can detach a chart and then attach it to the main program again. And, as noted above, there is no support for changing the size of the tab itself. nowhere to find if I minimize it
In the recent releases (v 2814 and above) there have been many changes to the attached child windows. One of these i how the "Minimized" windows behave. Refer to the following: General Settings Window: MDI Child Window Minimize Method (List) (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Multiple Document Interface (MDI) and Custom Title Bar Settings) One of the options is "Hidden" which hides the window rather than actually minimizing it. Therefore, the tab will be removed. You need to select the chart from the "CW" menu to display it again. With all respect you seem not to understand what the issue is . After I click minimizing the minimized window is nowhere and I can not resize it to make a grid with other windows . This only happened to this window , this is not a normal behavior on other charts or for the other chart tabs, this clearly is a bug.

Check the setting for "MDI Child Window Minimize Method". Please tell us what this is set to. Here is the documentation for this setting: General Settings Window: MDI Child Window Minimize Method (List) (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Multiple Document Interface (MDI) and Custom Title Bar Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
