Tool config / multiple control bars

Dear SC support. I have 3 tool config for horizontal line (differ only in colour) I have 3 control bars (A,B,C). Each control bar uses different Custom drawing tool for horizontal line with different config. control bar A: custom drawing tool 3 with config 1 control bar B: custom drawing tool 4 with config 2 control bar C: custom drawing tool 5 with config 3 each custom drawing refers to 'horizontal line'. I have problem because when I select tool on one chart it has correct config, but then on another chart it does not change to the config relevant for the control bar which is active for a chart. I use Chart control bars. Can you please assist? Goal is to have same tool with 3 diferent configs avaibale from 3 different control bars. Thanks! |

There can only be a single Configuration selected for any tool at any time, regardless of the chart. So it is not possible to get exactly what you are wanting, which would be that each chart has its own tool and configuration. You can, however, have each chart have its own control bar and a specific tool and configuration setup for each individual control bar. This way, you can select the control bar button for that chart to have the specific tool and configuration for that chart. But you do have to specifically select the control bar button to have that configuration applying at that time. Hi John, thanks for reply. It was set to 'No'. I have changed it to 'Yes' and now I can do exactly what I need:) I have seperate control bars per chart. Each control bar refers to different custom drawing tool. Each custom drawing tool is set for horizontal line but with different config. Thanks a lot for assistance! |
