If I set the chart tick size on a stock higher than its original for number bars Will that affect the calculated values ? If so how can we use it without affecting the calculated values ? Calculated values as In cumulative delta and delta and day delta |

Do not change the Tick Size. To adjust the data for a Numbers Bars study, use the "Volume at Price Multiplier". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Will changing the volume at price multiplier affect the actual cumulative delta and volume on the number bars calculated values ? So will the calculated values be different from actual values? |

It just aggregrates the values across a set of prices. So items like the Cumulative Delta and Numbers Bars Calculated Values that are an accomulation across an entire bar are not affected.

Why do you state that it is lagging? What specific information are you looking at?

There is no reason to not be able to get Time and Sales for Crypto. Did you try this and something did not work? Yes, Numbers Bars only require top of book data. Not market depth data.

On the calculated values study I would like to color minimum delta and maximum delta So when delta is near maximum delta it has a certain color and when minimum delta is near delta it has it’s own colour |

There is not a way to do this completely. The closest you can come is to enable the option for "Color Background Based on Value Percentage" to "Yes", and then set the "Percent Compare Thresholds" to values like "0.05, 0.95, 0.95". Then set the "Range 3 Up Color" and the "Range 3 Down Color" to the colors you want for the smallest and largest values, and set the other colors to be the same as the background. You will then get the coloring for "Range 3 Up Color" for the largest value of the "Maximum Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference" and the "Range 3 Down Color" for the smallest value of the "Minimum Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference". But, you will also get the opposite coloring for the smallest value of the "Maximum Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference" and the largest value of the "Minimum Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference". There are separate Input settings with the Numbers Bars study for the pullback column. Refer to: Numbers Bars: Pullback Column # Numbers Bars Text (And the next four inputs) So this first Input, you will want to set it to a setting other than "None" and the pullback column displays. When I increase the tick size on ES from 0.25 a tick to 1.00 will compress and add up the volume in the number bars or only show what happend in that 1.00 ? Or will it also compress it and add it to the 1.00 ? |

To start with, you should not change the Tick Size. If you want to aggregate the data for the Volume by Price study then use the "Ticks per Volume Bar" Input for the study. Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Ticks Per Volume Bar If you want to have all Volume related studies to have aggregated data, then use the "Volume at Price Multiplier". The "Volume by Price" study, will then be forced to use a "Ticks per Volume Bar" that is an even multiple of the "Volume at Price Multiplier". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu) Note that whatever method you use the data is always aggregated. It does not just take a single value from the range and use that. -- Separately - please start new threads for each question/issue you have.
