Debian 13 wine 10.0 Updated SC from 2813 to 2848 When I click on the 'minimize window' widget of a chart window, it does not minimize, but stays in place with a changed window size. (See attachments.) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-01-01 18:23:02

Refer to the following setting: General Settings Window: MDI Child Window Minimize Method (List) (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Multiple Document Interface (MDI) and Custom Title Bar Settings) Also be aware of the other settings in that section that affect how the new MDI windows act. You may also want to review the following thread for more information on the changes related to this: Notice: Solution to: Chart/Chartbook Tabs Visibility Issues, Portions of Chart Window Cut Off For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I have now set Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> MDI Child Window Minimize Method (List) = Minimize to Bottom This now moves the window to the lower left corner, but does not minimize it. I am confused. What settings are needed to restore the previous minimize window behavior (up to SC2813), where minimize means: - window height is reduced to the window bar height, - window width is reduced to some small (probably fixed) amount, so that the widgets and a small portion of the window title remain visible, - window is moved to the bottom left of the application main window, and to the right of any other already minimized windows (and filling any gaps). ??? Sierra Chart does not use operating system minimize or maximize anymore. Too many problems with those. The window will always look like it is in a normal state but its size is reduced. And you can control the size of it, through these two settings: Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI: MDI Child Window Minimize Width %: MDI Child Window Minimize Height %: Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. It is a percentage of the desktop size. We will update the documentation.
