What exactly is occurring? Are you doing something specific each time that causes the crash? What is crashing? Is the Sierra Chart application shutting down, is it locking up, something else? Or is your entire computer actually rebooting (blue screen or death or something equivalent)? If your computer is shutting down, then most likely you are having a problem with your computer hardware. Quite often we find that this is either an issue with memory or your storage drive. You should do a deep scan of these items to ensure that everything is working properly. Also, you should try running Sierra Chart in "Safe Mode" and see if you continue to have the issue. If you do not have a problem when running in Safe Mode, then this would imply that you have a custom study that is causing an issue. OK so far it hasn't yet but I'm not really running any custom studies but if I can't figure it out should I just run it in safe mode from now on

Safe Mode stops custom studies from running. Therefore, if you have a problem without Safe Mode and do not have a problem with Safe Mode, then the issue is going to be a custom study that you are using.

Disable OpenGL if you are using OpenGL.

We recommend running Sierra Chart in safe mode: Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode And not using OpenGL.: Graphics Settings: Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other) If you still have a problem, then you may have a hardware issue with your computer. OK will do because I am getting it checked for something today but I haven't been using Open GL and running it in safe mode so I'm guessing it's gonna be something with my hardware
