John, The most bizarre thing has happened in the DI29 contract on the Brazil exchange. In my chartbook, I have 2 contract months DI29 and DI31. This morning all was well. I did my charts for a client, and no issue. I just looked at the chartbook and DI29 won't now NOT load beyond 5 Nov. YES REALLY, John, it spontaneously just stopped working in the time I used it this morning to just now. I have 1-checked days to load. All set to my usual settings of 400days. You also see the days range is now stuck on 11-05 and overriding 'days to load' 2-I checked the data service to make sure max day to load is correct. It is at 400 3- you can see clearly on the top chart that the little scroll thing is fully to the left, and it only goes to 11-5. 4- you can see in the bottom right a chart for DI31, which is working perfectly, no issue. Can go back 400 days 5- in the second screenshot, you see I take the lower left chart from the first screenshot and set it to daily. Bingo, I can scroll back 400 days. So daily data is coming through perfectly into the chart, but it won't load any type of intraday chart 6- I have deleted and reloaded data 7- I have hit translate symbols, as that seems to cure many SC bugs at times To summarise. Within 1 chartbook, I have 2 expiries for the same contract. One which works perfectly, one which suddenly stopped working and wont load any intraday data from 11-05 and earlier. I have checked everything, deleted data, and nothing works. HELP thank you |

The "Date Range in File From" for that chart is showing as "2025-11-05". So you only have data downloaded from November 5, 2025 for some reason. Change that date (Date Range in File From) to the date at which you want the data, then select "OK" to close that window. You will be prompted to download data going back to when you specified. If the data service you are getting the data from has the data, then it will be downloaded. But you may be limited by what they have. We can not say why this would have changed all of a sudden. The implication is that a "Delete All Data and Download" occurred and you were only able to get data back to November 5, 2025. Which would probably mean that you not be able to get any data further back than that. Also, we do not know anything about these contracts on the Brazil exchange, so is it possible that there is no data further back than this? John, when I change the date to anything earlier in the future and hit ok, it just reverts back to 11-05. I have tried a million different ways to get it to work. Open my chartbook, look at how the 31 contract is fine, but 29 you cannot get any intraday data to load beyond 11.05 And again, for the last year, I have used this chart going back 2 years if I wanted. It TODAY just suddenly stopped working. Yes, really. |

I can get the data on iq if I call up a min chart...you see the date is oct 25... so it is a SC issue not a data feed issue. And again, the other expiry work in my chartbook. Please download the chartbook and see |

Where are you getting your data from? What is "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Current Selected Service" set to?

Hi John, I use IQ Feed. John, you won't believe this, but I got so frustrated and pissed off that I closed all of SC, and I restarted my computer. I thought I would try something so basic as I was going mental that '29 would not work when '27 and '31 did. And you know what's coming...all the charts worked. Yes, really. John, I have used SC for 7? years at least. I am not you guys obvs, but I am now very good at working out issues. The '29 charts for some weird ass reason got a glitch and limited the data suddenly. Shutting everything down and restarting fixed. I am flabbergasted but happy as Brazil is v important to me. I swear on my dog's life, the charts wouldn't work. They do now after a reboot...Like the old 'disconnect from your modem and restart' hahaha thanks for all your time, Karen |
