I saved a control bar key Caption, so it writes 12B Levels on 2 lines(12B\nLevels). It works but it seems to change back after going back in for some reason. Is there a way to get changes saved permanently?

The change should save. What do you mean by "it seems to change back after going back in for some reason"? Going back in where? What is the exact flow you are using where things are changing?

Then right click control bar(attached), customize control bar 10, go down to 12B levels key, Properties, and change Caption to 12B\nlevels so on 12B on line one and levels on line2. Push ok, and ok. It seems like it stays until I add another customized key to control bar 10 then it goes back to 12B levels on one line instead of keeping it on two lines?

We are not able to reproduce this. When we follow the process you lay out, the "\n" stays in the Caption and does not change when we add/modify another button on the same control bar.

Is this occurring in a Sub-Instance? If so, then in your main instance, check the setting for "Global Settings >> General Settings >> Always Copy Configuration Files to New Instances when Started". You may want to set this to "No". Refer to the following:
General Settings Window: Always Copy Configuration Files to New Instances When Started (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> New Instances)

I am using it in a sub instance. I did check my setting on "Global Settings >> General Settings >> Always Copy Configuration Files to New Instances when Started" and it was set to "No". It may have something to do with this for trying to create custom keys with a Sierra Chart Study from Simple System Trading on hiding studies with a customized button.

It is possible that the study is changing the name, or adjusting it. It would be odd that they are specifically removing a newline character, but it is possible. We recommend contacting them and see if they are doing this.
