Hello, I have successfully connected Sierra Chart to my Interactive Brokers account, and I have also subscribed to the Denali Data Feed since it provides more reliable and accurate data. The issue I’m facing is that when I use the Interactive Brokers data, the chart quality and accuracy are poor (which I understand is expected). However, when I switch to the Denali data feed, I’m unable to place or route orders through my Interactive Brokers account. I know it is possible to use Denali for charting and still send orders to IB, but I’m not sure how to properly configure this setup. There is nothing special you need to do in order to get the Denali data and trade with Interactive Brokers. What exactly is occurring when you try to place a trade with Interactive Brokers? What is one symbol for which you have a problem (we need the symbol exactly as you have it entered for the chart). Hello, Thank you for your reply. When I try to place an order through Interactive Brokers while using the Denali data feed, the order does not go through — it seems that Sierra Chart is not routing the trade to IB. For example, I am trying to trade the E-mini S&P 500 futures (symbol: ESZ25-CME). In my chart, the symbol currently used is exactly: ESZ25-CME. Could you please confirm if this is the correct symbol format for using Denali data while routing orders to Interactive Brokers? If not, could you indicate exactly how I should configure the symbol or the “Trade and Current Quote Symbol” settings? To start with, you need to have your "Current Selected Service" set to "Interactive Brokers". When you make this change and select "OK" on the "Data/Trade Service Settings" window, you will be prompted to update your symbols. Be sure to answer "Yes" to this. If you do not, or if you open another chartbook later, then you can update the symbols by selecting "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". The general issue you are having is that you do not have the correct symbol for Interactive Brokers. Every service uses a different symbology, so when you are connected to Interactive Brokers, you need to use their symbology. You can always find the correct symbols for the service you are connected to on the "File >> Find Symbol" window. Be sure to select the symbol for a chart through that window in order to ensure that you have it correct.
