To start with, you need to have your "Current Selected Service" set to "Interactive Brokers".

When you make this change and select "OK" on the "Data/Trade Service Settings" window, you will be prompted to update your symbols. Be sure to answer "Yes" to this.

If you do not, or if you open another chartbook later, then you can update the symbols by selecting "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service".


The general issue you are having is that you do not have the correct symbol for Interactive Brokers. Every service uses a different symbology, so when you are connected to Interactive Brokers, you need to use their symbology. You can always find the correct symbols for the service you are connected to on the "File >> Find Symbol" window. Be sure to select the symbol for a chart through that window in order to ensure that you have it correct. Refer to the following:
