I am getting this order rejected with this message: 2025-10-30 16:53:08.578 | Teton CME Routing (Order reject). Info: CME (Rejected). Text: FIX field incorrect 'Illegal Price: '3977.9 contract '1OZZ5' (ticks in 25, CAB of 0)'. SecurityID=42005330. Operator=xxxxx. Text: Parent order. Tag: GLD_2TargetsWithStop.twconfig. Internal Order ID: 1355. Service Order ID: 440136. Symbol: 1OZZ25_FUT_CME. Account: xxxxxx * I don't know why 3977.9 is an illegal price as this is a valid price on this contract. I can enter orders for 1oz without the cross trading setup on a GC chart but just not when using a GC chart so it seems its a configuration issue. |

3977.9 is NOT a valid price for 1OZ. That symbol has a Tick Size of 0.25, therefore the price would need to be either 3977.75 or 3978.00. If you are using a Gold (GC) chart and using 1OZ as the Trade and Current Quote Symbol, then you would need to change the Tick Size for that chart to be 0.25. Ah, you are right! I don't know why I assumed it was same as gc with 0.1 ticks. I updated it on chart settings but it still is not working, is there another setting besides tick size which impacts this? 2025-10-31 01:27:44.747 | Teton CME Routing (Order reject). The 1 ounce gold contract uses a different real-time multiplier which you need to set through this particular setting with the configuration you are using: Chart Settings: Trade and Current Quote Symbol Price Multiplier (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) It needs to be set to: 0.01 Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Okay, now the weirdest thing is happening. I change Real Time Multiplier to 0.01 and Tick Size to 0.25 I hit apply. 1. Chart reloads the tick data, seems okay for a second. 2. Chart then reloads the tick data again and the chart settings automatically revert. This happens as I am watching it after clicking apply while chart settings are still open, its like it is rejecting the changes I just made. |

First make sure you are setting this very specific setting: Chart Settings: Trade and Current Quote Symbol Price Multiplier (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) And no other. The Real-Time Price Multiplier for the chart still needs to remain at .1 And disable, the chart linking options: Chart Settings: Linking The problem could also be related to: Unable to Change the Bar Time Period for Charts Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
