Hi , I am interested in using Sierra Chart for futures and stock trading purposes. I also want to use the footprint feature of the tool. Could you guide me the clear package and data feed I need to subscribe to? The website navigates back and forth to multiple pages and hence very confusing to come to a clear understanding.

1. Do I need to use integrated package 11?
2. Do I need to additionally subscribe to exchange data from CME and nasdaq separately apart from fee paid in 1 above?
3. for CME account , I understand I can use the stage5 account if I am only interested in looking at the data without trading? I could do that with my existing broker accounts.

Kindly guide me so that I can confirm the subscriptions needed.

Regards
Arun

1. Yes. In order to be able to get real-time data and to be able to connect to trading services, you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. And for the Numbers Bars study (footprints) you need to be on one of the "Advanced" packages. Refer to the information for the packages at the following link:
Description of Service Packages and Pricing

To change to a paid package, follow these instructions:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions

2. Yes, you need to setup and activate the exchanges for which you want real-time data. This is separate from the packages.

For the CME Group, follow these instructions:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

For the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape, follow these instructions:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges*

3. In order to get the real-time data for the CME Group at the non-professional rates, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. And you need to connect your Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification. Refer to the following:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

An account at Stage 5 will work for this. If you let us know what order routing service you are using, then we can point you to the proper instructions for how to connect.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing
