Study Overlay Problems

When the Study/Price Overlay is transferred from a Range Chart to a 1 minute chart, only a limited and variable number of transferred values are displayed on the 1 minute chart. This is resolved by a forced recalculation which allows the most recent levels to be displayed again. However, after a few more periods the transfer lines will again disappear. For example, a study of the range bar high (using a simple moving average 1) displaced 2 periods and then transferred to a 1 minute chart, shows the problem. Also, no new overlay level is formed when a new range bar commences. Interestingly, a non-displaced overlay continues to be drawn correctly throughout. SC1200. |

I think the answer may be to use the setting "Use Earliest Value From Corresponding Timeframe In Source Chart" rather than "Latest Value...". Will this be a universal remedy for all displaced studies? |
