tabs in chartbook always dissapearing

Hello, since a few days my chartbook tabs are always dissapearing. If i readjust them with Global Settings - Windows Tabs it only readjusts until I click on another chartbook. I have to restart sierra. whats the problem?

It just started a few days ago. Any fix for this or could it be an actual sierra bug with the most recent version?

It is very unlikely, this is going to be a problem on the Sierra Chart side. We think it is operating system related. Extremely unlikely it is a problem with the recent version. There have been no changes in this functionality for a long time. Most likely the only solution is for us to rebuild the main window and child windows away from operating system functionality. This will take some time. This has always been planned and we will get this done as soon as we can. But it is not likely to be done for months. As the author discussed opening this thread. My chart book tabs have also disappeared. I can't say when this issue started as I've been hospital for past 10 days it was working fine prior I did perform an upgrade to v2773 with no resolution I don't believe it is related to our operating systems?!?!! My computer has had no modifications in months SC has run flawlessly for over 10 years, but this issue is perplexing to say the least. Please consider taking a more in-depth investigation for a solution (fix) Thank you for all that you do |

Yes the problem continues and its also on another computer, it has to be sierra related.

Hello support team, is there any update on this matter? I still have the problem and dont know what to do. Am I the only one? Is this my system or a current sierra problem?

We have to rebuild what is called the multiple document frame and client windows (two different client windows), independent from the operating system. This is a very substantial development task. We will be getting to this soon, and once we get to it should take us about three months. So we would estimate months from now. At the soonest. Right now we cannot estimate when there will be a solution. And this is going to be the right solution. Otherwise, it is going to be too frustrating/difficult/impossible dealing with all the wacky behavior at the OS level. This is an OS issue. There really is no doubt about that. This functionality though is not commonly used by programs anymore. You can say it is Sierra Chart related but that is because we are using functionality from the operating system and of course Windows is an absolute complete retarded piece of trash.
