Hi! My charts don't seem to be connecting to my broker. My broker (AMP Futures) said everything looks good on their end and to talk to Sierra Chart Support. I've logged out and logged back in several times, I've tried playing with the Data Connect options in your software, I've read through your support options and tried what they suggest and nothing seems to work. Please help me reconnect my account back to my broker. Thank you!

Why do you state that you are not connected to your broker? According to our servers, your selected service is set to CQG, so if you are setup to use CQG with AMP, then it sounds like this is set correctly. Although make sure you have the correct credentials in the "Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings" window.

If you are unable to make trades to your live account, then we wonder if you have the "Trade Simulation Mode On" enabled, and that is why you are not able to send trades to your live account. Refer to the following:

Thank you for answering. I am setup with CQG through AMP (I confirmed it with them). I know the difference between live and simulated. The charts are dead no matter which mode I'm in. I took August off from trading, but I'm showing the last data that loaded was from end of day July 31st. Someone from tech, I believe, was suggesting that I don't renew my payment until Sept since there's only 4 days left in the month. Is this implying that I'm not current with my payment? I thought I was and the card you have on file is good. Is this a payment issue stopping me from getting live data??

Since you took August off, the CME Group exchange that you had active in July did not renew on August 1, 2025. Since the exchange is deactivated, you have to re-activate it first, before the automated payments will see it in order to get the funds for the following month.

As you stated, there are only 4 trading days left in the month of August (5, if you include Sunday Evening). And the exchanges renew on a calendar month basis and they are not pro-rated. So if you were to activate an exchange today (August 26, 2025) you would pay the full amount for the exchange only to get data through August 31, 2025.

Therefore, you need to choose whether to pay the full amount now in order to get the data immediately, or to wait until September 1, 2025. Another option - depending on what exchange(s) you need, would be to go with a cheaper option now (such as the "CME Non-Professional Top-of-Book" for $2.00 and then deactivate this immediately and then activate the other exchange(s) you want on September 1, 2025.

Thank you. I just need a little clarification please. Your system says this: "[✔] Your usage time will automatically renew in 33 days (2025-09-28). Provided that there is sufficient Services Balance at the time of renewal." If it's going to renew in 33 days, why is it not current today? Do I need to activate something or put more money in the account?? What does the system need me to do? If I wait until next week, Sept 2nd Tuesday, do I still need to initiate a payment to have live data? I guess I'm not understanding why is it not current today? Can you please answer that for me? Much appreciated!

Hi again! Just curious, if I were to make a payment today to go live again, how much do I need to pay?

Do you mean you want to pay an exchange fee for real-time data?

What markets do you need *real-time data* for or want to trade? For example, what particular futures, Forex or stock symbols. You can also give us the exchanges that the particular symbol or symbols trade on.

Yes please. I only trade the ES mini/micro. Also, the one thing that's still puzzling me is why didn't a payment get charged to my card in the beginning of August when it said the payment didn't go through? Also the $200+ renewal payment coming out at the end of Sept, that is every 6 months, yes? And am I paying something monthly as well or is the 6 months payment the only payments I make? What puzzles me is that if I'm only paying every 6 months, why did my service get stopped in August for lack of payment? Sorry I feel like I'm still missing something in understanding this. Thank you!

Or is it 6 months for Sierra Chart services and monthly for live data feed??

Yes, its monthly for Real-time Data Exchange Fees, that would be the exchanges money and they tend to increase pricing every single year.

Like you, more and more people are focused on the ES, MES, NQ, and MNQ, which are all listed on the CME Exchange -- you can get real-time Market Depth Data for the CME Exchange for $13.00 (or Top-of-Book Data for just $2.00).
Also sometimes people are surprised to learn that the "Numbers Bars" feature and the "TPO Profile" feature only require the Volume data that is included in the $2.00 top-of-book option.

Thank you. The $13/month sounds good to me. I went your link and saw how to sign up for that. Thank you for your time and information - you've been very helpful.

Good,

*You might wait to activate real-time data until the 1st of September, so you are not paying a full exchange fee for just 1 day of Real-time Data.
