Hello, I've been on Denali data feeds for a while now and noticed today my GC feed isnt live or moving at all. Its all kind of just frozen. When looking at the time remaining (TR) on the chart- its like -43m Im usually connected to Rithmic, so I tried changing between TT and SC DATA and even after converting the symbol, its still the same issue. Im getting no error in the message log either which is strange All my other data feeds are working fine aswell I've tried: - Deleting data and redownloading (no success) - Update global symbol setting (no success) |

Update: I found it was due to the continous contract option. When I set it to none, no problem. But when its set to 'volume based - back adjusted it' it reverts back to a the previous day, frozen.

I've updated and tried to update symbol settings again aswell. Below is a screenshot: https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1754440764700.png The current price is different from where the price line is and at the top youll notice the TR is going into negative. Should be noted that the chart functions fine when the continuous contract setting is set to none. I currently have it set to volume based rollover, back adjusted Cheers |

For some reason the Symbol Settings for GC are missing the V contract for the rollover contracts. We will look into this, but in the meantime, do the following: - Select "Global Settings >> Symbol Settings" - Find the symbol in the list on the left for GC?#.COMEX and select it in that pane - On the right top, scroll down through the list of symbol settings for that symbol and find the entry for "Continuous Contract Months". Select this item by clicking on it. - Just below the settings will now show options to make changes. In the box for "Custom", select the V contract to add it to the list. - Make sure the option for "Use Custom Symbol Settings Values" in the upper left corner is enabled (has a checkmark). - Select OK to close the window. - Go to the chart that has the issue and select "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate That should take care of it for you. For GC futures the V contract is deliberately not included for continuous futures contract charts. This will not change. Although this should not affect chart updating. But nevertheless, you should be using the December (Z) contract.

Not sure wether it is related, but I am also having GC issue since today, all other charts/symbols load fine, but GC (even with continuous contract none) directly causes sierra chart to be non responsive (see screenshot). I have to manually kill Sierra via the taskmanager |

You are not setup to get any data from us, and it appears that you are connected to Rithmic. As such, the data would be coming from Rithmic, and we wonder if the problem you are having is due to Rithmic not responding properly. Are you setup to get data for GC (Gold) from Rithmic? Please try to open a new chart for GC, do not use a complex chart such as you show in the image. Let us know if this locks up Sierra Chart. hum? That is weird, I am connected through rithmic, but I was under the impression that I I use the denali feed. I try the "clean chart" though You were right John, the Denali data feed was disabled. No Idea how that happened though. I will reactivate that and try with your data in any case. Might this be related to me failing to redo the "non-professional" agreement on time? Does this somehow "auto-deactivate" the feed? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-10-15 16:28:38

Update: It is a strange issue. A simple chart loads without any issue on the denali feed. However, the more complicated one does load properly with ES,6E,.. (CME). It crashes Sierra Chart though with every COMEX Symbol that I have tried (GC,HG..) The problem persists with CQG instead of rithmic. I thought (different symbol) that this could change things, but alas not. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-10-15 17:29:11

Please update to the latest release by following these instructions: Software Download: Fast Update Then try to open a new chart for GC (Gold) and see if it works. If it does, then try a more complex chart and let us know if you have a problem.
