Good morning, I was logged in this morning, had to exit SC, then when restarting SC, it opens up, start opening the charts and shut down for no reason (and was working 1 hour ago).

Anything related to my account which may cause the issue?

Thank you v much

There is nothing related to your account that would cause this. Something is corrupted that is causing an issue.

Start by using Safe Mode - refer to the following link. If you can open in Safe Mode, then try to open each of your Chartbooks, one by one (if you have more than one). If you can open the chartbooks and everything is fine, then this would mean that you have a custom study that is causing an issue. You would need to figure out which one and then replace the file and see if that resolves the issue. If not, then you would have to work with the developer to figure out why the study is causing an issue.

If you have a problem with a chartbook when you are opening them, then that chartbook must have gotten corrupted for some reason. You can use the backups that we make to go back a day or two and replace that chartbook. Follow these instructions:

If none of this works, then let us know.

Thank you John. I have tried all of that but it does not work. If I select an old enough back up file where symbol is old and needs to rollover, it works so I am trying to update each chart in the chartbook one by one and see when it crashed and shuts down SC,which is likely to means this is the chart that makes it crash.

Does that make sense?

If you have gone to a backup chartbook and that is loading, then the problem is with the chartbook that you replaced.

Hopefully you can just update your symbols and everything will be fine.

Thanks again John. Seems it was a custom study on a specific chart which caused the crash. Strange that it worked and 1 hour later stopped ding so and crashed my SC but it is now fixed, thank you for your help.
