Hi, Is it possible to have sierra chart for charting only as I want to use TT DOMs for execution? I am with AMP. Regards Andrew |

Yes, you can use Sierra Chart just for charting. The one issue you will have is if you are wanting real-time data for the CME Group at the non-professional rates. The CME Group requires that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to get the real-time data at the non-professional rates. And you need to connect your Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification. We see that you have the EUREX exchange already active, so you are all set. Nothing special you need to do.

If you are still wanting to use Sierra Chart just for charting, then there is nothing else you need to do on the Sierra Chart side of things. You are set to get the EUREX data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. We are a bit confused on what "Current Selected Service" you are using. Normally, if you are just using Sierra Chart for charting, then this would be set to "SC Data". But according to our servers, you are connected to CQG. This is fine, but for just charting, you do not need to be connected to CQG. If you are going to be trading with CQG, then this is also fine. In this case, just leave things as it is and you will be able to trade as well as chart. We are not certain what you are referring to in terms of "TT". Hi John sorry, I currently trade using sierra chart doms, my broker is AMP. I want to switch to TT doms for the specialised orders but I want to keep using sierra chart for my charts. Just making sure I do it right, I have reached out to AMP, so maybe all I need to do is add TT platform with AMP.

When we hear "TT" we think of "Trading Technologies". This is a company that offers order routing, similar to our "Teton Order Routing Service". What we are concerned about with this is that we do not have connectivity with "TT". So if you are changing your order routing with AMP to use "TT" instead of "CQG", then this would create an issue for you with being able to get the Denali data at the Non-Professional rates, as you will not have a way to verify your AMP account. We do not think that AMP works with TT, so we think you are referring to a different "TT". Please verify if you are referring to the order routing, or to some other charting software.
