Hi, I am an non-professional trader outside America trading CME futures within a prop firm (Topstep). I just need some clarification with the fee structure and CME's non-professional verification before purchasing. I have identified some things (correct me if I am wrong): 1. Looking to view NQ, ES and Gold charts (both Minis and Micros) - this would require 2 data feed subscriptions (1 non professional CME with Market depth and 1 COMEX with Market Depth) $13 each, totaling $26 2. Package 11 as I am looking to utilize order flow and DOM on these charts. I am strictly looking to use sierra charts only to VIEW live data and not trade within sierra charts, only within topstep's own platform. I am just worried about extra fees and the CME policy of being connected to a broker for non-professional verification. Is there any way I can resume using live data monthly without connecting to a broker and depositing money to keep my non-professional status (is there a workaround you offer?). I have also noticed, is there an extra fee for the data feed through Denali? |

I take it from your note that you understand the CME's unique rule requiring you to have a Futures Trading Account in order to qualify as a Non-Professional. [*Note: we know of only the CME Group having this rule, not EUREX, not CFE, not NASDAQ, not NYSE, just the CME Group*] This situation comes up all the time now: there are Brokers that will open up small Futures Trading Accounts just to help people with this issue, just to help people with the requirement of having a Futures Trading Account in order to qualify as a Non-Professional. One of (1) AMP Futures, (2) Stage5, (3) EdgeClear, or (4) Cannon Trading would help you here. Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement Or maybe you ok using the Real-time CME Group Futures Data that is provided by TopStep via Rithmic? The main drawback to the Real-time CME Group Futures Data that is provided by TopStep via Rithmic is that there is little to no historical data, though for some people this is not an issue: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Rithmic Support Policy Also you could just pay the expensive Professional Real-time Data Price, see the Professional options here: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Supported Exchanges (Exchange Fees) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-06-02 03:06:32
