User135243 is correct that you are trying to open a chart for an old contract. But the real issue is that you are trying to open a chart using a Rithmic formatted symbol when it looks like you are connected to "SC Data". That is why you are getting the particular message about symbol settings not being found. Each service has their own symbology. For instance, for the Z 2026 contract for NQ, the symbol you need to enter when you are connected to "SC Data" is "NQZ26-CME". But if you are connected to Rithmic, then it is "NQZ6.CME". And so on for other services. With your Chartbooks open, select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" to change the symbols in your charts to be what is needed for the current selected service you are using. Refer to the following: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service When you open a new chart, it is always best to use the "File >> Find Symbol" window. When you do this, the symbols will be displayed properly for the particular service you are connected to. And if you do change services - then after you select OK to close the "Data/Trade Service Settings Window", you are prompted to update the symbols. You should answer "Yes" to this query. If you happen to forget, or open a different chartbook later, then use the "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" option. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-08-28 15:20:33
