When you have a Numbers Bars study on a chart, and then overlay the bars from that chart back to itself in order to show on the Numbers Bars, those bars are going to be centered in the area for a bar as defined by the Numbers Bars. So if you have 1 column displayed, the candles will be in the middle of that column. If you have two columns, it will be between the two columns. If you have 3 columns, it will be in the middle of the second column.

If the above is not what you are seeing, then we would need to see an image of what you are seeing to understand what exactly is occurring. Follow these instructions to get us an image:

The notation of "[CV]" is for a Continuous Futures Contract chart. Refer to the following:

The Numbers Bars study will not change the Bar Period of your chart. If it is setup as a Range chart, then it will stay as a Range chart.
