The Countdown Timer does not work on Reversal Bars, so the fact that you are seeing a zero in that case is normal. But you should have the number of ticks remaining with a Range chart - it should not just stay at 1. Double check that the Input for "Display Remaining Range in Ticks" is set to "Yes". And then make sure you have a new bar and see if the Countdown Timer changes when you get that new bar displayed.
