There is no reason why the system should "lock up" when you select "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" to switch from Simulation Mode to Live. There is nothing for the system to do in this case, as you are already connected to the live account, it is just a matter of where the orders will be sent to. Please start Sierra Chart in Safe Mode and then select "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" to toggle between Simulation Mode and Live. Let us know if you continue to see the same issue when running in Safe Mode.
