It sounds like you have an alert setup to remind you that you have "Pending Chat Messages" that you have not read. And that you must have the alert number you are using for that alert set to send messages to the Chat. We wonder if this would create an infinite loop. We will have to check on this. But, make sure that the following alert has an alert number associated with it that will not send messages to the Chat: General Settings Window: Chat Window Pending Message Alert (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts >> Other Alerts) You should also check the other items around that one that have to do with Chat alerts to ensure none of them are sending notifications to the Chat.
