1. You can only get the data for certain symbols while on a trial. Any other symbols will show a blank chart. So most likely this is the case. Refer to the following:

But, we also want to point out that every service uses a different symbology, so the symbols that are setup in the chart may not be what you need for the service you are currently connected to. Select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" with the chartbook open, in order to update the symbols and make sure this is not where you are having an issue.

2. If you do not need the live data, then you would want to be on one of the "Base" packages. Which package depends on what you need for your charting. Refer to the information at the following link for the differences in the packages:

3. You can change your package at any time, and as often as you like. So this is not a problem. Refer to the following:
