Now, after arranging the windows the way I want, some of them stay in place, but the one that is maximized and then minimized ends up looking like in the screenshot.
You are "Minimizing" the window instead of "Restoring" it. Be sure to select the "Restore" button. Just so you are aware, there are multiple options for how to handle the minimization of a window now. Refer to the following setting: General Settings Window: MDI Child Window Minimize Method (List) (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Multiple Document Interface (MDI) and Custom Title Bar Settings) By the way, the title bar visually looks worse than in the previous version — the bar is wider and takes up more screen space. I know it can be disabled, but that’s probably not the point.
There are a number of settings to control how the Title Bar for the windows are displayed. Refer to the following setting and the 3 below it: Graphics Settings: Window Title Bar Additionally, I had an Attach Trade Window to Chart connected to one chart, and it got disconnected after the update.
We think this may be due to the upgrade. But if you stay on release 2862 and attach the window again, do you continue to have a problem with it? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
