To be able to do both Simulated trading and live trading at the same time, you would need to use a second instance of Sierra Chart (which you may also want to consider for your general setup). The best way to do this is to use a Sub-Instance. You create a sub-instance by selecting "File >> New Instance". Refer to the following:
File Menu: New Instance (File)

If you do this, you will need to run the Simulation environment in the sub-instance, as these sub-instances get/send information through the main instance.
