If you have a chart already setup to be a Continuous Futures Contract and you select "Delete All Data and Download", then the amount of data downloaded will be determined by the setting for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download ("Non Tick Data" or "1 Tick Data")" By default, this is set to 186, so it would need to download at least a few contracts worth of data. If you have this set to a higher value, then it will take longer to download the data. Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
