We do not know what you mean by the symbols being "temporary". You should not have any delayed data, as you have the "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" exchange setup from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. As such, as long as you are entering the symbol as the standard ticker, then you should be fine - in that you should be getting the real-time data. In order to trade with Interactive Brokers, however, you need to use the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" and enter the symbol as Interactive Brokers wants it. Refer to the following: Interactive Brokers Symbols: Stock Format You will also want to set the option of "Use as Trade Only Symbol" to "Yes". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Use as Trade Only Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu) If you want to have the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" setup for any stock symbol when you open a new chart or change the symbol of a chart, then you need to update the Symbol Settings to enter a "Trade/Quote Symbol" entry. You can use placeholders such as "?" and "#" to denote an alphanueric or numeric value. You will want to update the symbols that are in the system as ?, ??, ???, ????, ?????, as these are the ones that are used for stocks. For example, to cover items like SOFI and XPEV (4 characters long), you edit the symbol settings for ???? and enter the following in the "Trade/Quote Symbol" field: ????-STK-SMART-USD Then if you open a new chart for SOFI, your Trade and Current Quote Symbol will be set to "SOFI-STK-SMART-USD".
