In terms of selecting the Drawn Volume Profile, refer to the settings in the following section and make sure they are set as you want them: Chart Drawing Tools: Volume Profiles (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General) We are not sure what you are referencing in terms of "but deleting the volume tool, which is available under Drawing Tools, doesn't work either."
