If your Message Log is completely blank, then first check the following setting and ensure it is set to "No": General Settings Window: Disable Visual Message Logging Then select "Global Settings >> Message Categories" and make sure you have some of the items on that page set to "Yes". If you are not familiar with these items, then it is best that they are all set to "Yes". Refer to the following for descriptions of what each items controls: Message Categories -- We do not understand this statement - "the message log it is blank and does not give me an option to enter any symbols". There are no options to enter symbols for the Message Log. Are you referring to something else?
