The problem with using a condition like that is that certain studies have specific precedence's, which can cause the timing of these things to not work exactly as you want. The "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" in particular has a "Very Low Calculation Precedence", which means it runs after most other studies. Therefore, what you are seeing is probably due to this.
