It is actually not helpful for us to see the Message Log at the time you have the problem. We would not expect it to show any useful information.

However we see a massive number of messages like these:

This problem you are having is highly unusual. It is not something we ever hear about. We do not know what the cause is. Maybe there is some kind of out of memory condition. If really a restart of Sierra Chart is required then there is something going wrong within the process. A problem like this just never happens.

We have removed the logs because they are too massive.

We want you to install another installation of Sierra Chart to set to use SC Data-All Services and one of the same symbols. Open a chart for that symbol and open a market depth window and see if you notice a problem there. Instructions:

Just keep that other copy of Sierra Chart running and then when you have a problem in your main installation of Sierra Chart using Interactive Brokers go to this other installation and see if you notice a problem at the same time. We would expect not.

Yes the problem could be related to using Interactive Brokers but we would not know why. There are safeguards that have been put in place to prevent problems with Interactive Brokers market depth data interfering when using the Denali Data Feed. Maybe there is some random security definition data coming in altering for example the price format for the symbol. However, a reconnect to the data feed would solve this.
