Because the Study Collection, by default, removes all other studies from a chart. In order to not do so, you need to change the name of the Study Collection so it has a plus sign (+) at the end of the name (such as StudyCollection+.StdyCollct). When you have the plus sign at the end of the name, then it will prompt you to delete other studies or not.
