You are modifying the Tool Configuration #5 for the Marker. Make sure the changes you make are saved by selecting the Save button towards the bottom. The other thing is then to make sure that you are set to use TC5 when you are using the drawing. You need to select the tool first, then select the Tool >> Current Tool Configuration from the list. Then when you use the tool, it will match up with that configuration. You can also create a Control Bar button that selects both the tool and configuration, such that if you want to have different configurations for different reasons for the same tool, you can change quickly between them.
