When you disconnect from TWS, then it is normal for you to not be able to get the data from Sierra Chart. We are a bit confused as to why it appears you are getting some updates to your Sub-Instance. But, in general, if you have a need to do charting when you are not connected to Interactive Brokers, then you will need to set your Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service to SC Data - All Services. Just make sure that you translate the symbols when you switch your service settings. When you select OK on the Data/Trade Service Settings window you will get a prompt to change the symbols - you should select Yes. If you do not, or if you need to do the translation later (such as for another chartbook) then you can do this by selecting Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. You should then be receiving the real-time data from our data feed. Just keep in mind that if you are getting non-professional data from the CME Group, then you need to connect to your IB account at least once a month. Refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
