We need to update this thread. The background arrangement for providing Sierra Chart to Transact, is not transferable to a new owner. Which is now Ninjatrader. Users of Sierra Chart who have a Sierra Chart account provided through Transact, will need to pay for Sierra Chart directly. Refer to this post for details: Notice: Discontinuation of Support for Transact Trading Service in Sierra Chart | Post: 249685 You can continue to run Sierra Chart as you normally do but it is important that you update Sierra Chart to the current version following the instructions here: Software Download: Fast Update Transact will continue to be supported by Sierra Chart no later than June 1, 2021. Direct billing, is a much safer method of payment for users because you are now fully in control rather than leaving it to your broker. We know for a fact, that Transact would bill customers for Sierra Chart when the customer did not actively use Sierra Chart in a month, and that would go to Transact and we, Sierra Chart, would not receive that payment. Since we do not bill Transact, for when a user does not use Sierra Chart in a month. Furthermore, Transact also receives a substantial discount for Sierra Chart. What you pay Transact in the past, did not come to Sierra Chart. It is very important that users are fully in control of the billing related to Sierra Chart. These days more than ever (referring to current world events), being in control is very important rather than surrendering control to someone else.
