As noted above, there is a scrollbar on the bottom of a chart, but it can be turned off. Make sure the option is selected on. Documentation: Chart Menu: Show Scrollbar (Chart menu) As to the Zoom In capability, it is located under the Tools menu (Tools >> Zoom In).
