No, I don't have the mark enabled. I meant defaulting the second point before the current price if you're using a tick chart so you wouldn't have to deal with it shifting. I guess that wouldn't work because the angle of the ray is based on the second point's position, so that was a bad suggestion.

In the case of drawings for tick charts, couldn't it be based on the angle and length of the drawing and ignore the time?

I would want the line to keep that same angle as time goes on.

It'd be great if the timing of the bars was of no concern. The line would keep it's length and angle regardless of how long it took the next bars to form.

Lines/Rays or Other Chart Drawings Move After Drawing Them mentions the solution to keep the second point of the ray/line before the last visible bar.
That makes the line tool pretty much useless unless you're drawing and looking at the charts after the day is done.
It also makes for a bad experience with the ray tool because you get less angles you can draw at and it creates extra work to keep in mind when drawing trend lines because if you mess up and put the second point after the visible bar (which is hard not to do when drawing trend lines on a current chart) Then your trend line will randomly shift and can cause issues.

I understand this might require a rework for drawing for non-fixed-time charts, but as it is, it's a pretty bad user experience and should be considered a bug.
