When you say "their platform" what exactly do you mean? If you are going to be using Sierra Chart, the platform is Sierra Chart. And we offer full capabilities during a trial and with a paid account including a data feed with market depth, historical data and a full server-side trade simulation environment. So it is a complete unified environment, with no external dependency and no frustrating set up issues . Although if you are looking for real-time data, that is another matter and exchanges do cause monumental frustrations with that.
