But aside from all of this, follow the information in help topic 30 to reduce the CPU load:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often

You may also need a more powerful computer. We think that is going to be part of the solution.

Does Sierra automatically download all historical data with starting the charts or does it use the historical data from the DATA Folder.
It uses the existing data already downloaded. Only the missing data is downloaded.
