We are very confused by the last image you added and your statement about it. Where exactly did you place the anchor points for the line in that image? Was the line originally lined up to that bar that is pointed to with the purple arrow, or was it off when you placed the line? Also, refer to the information here about why lines can move, particularly if you have drawn the end-point in the Fill Space on the right. Let us know if this is perhaps what you are seeing.
