You have two choices in terms of adding a Moving Average to the Ergodic line.

The first is to set the Draw Style for the Erg Signal Line in the Ergodic Study to Line. This will display the Moving Average of the Ergodic Line using the MovAvg Type and the Signal Line MovAvg Length. The only downside to using this option is that the Moving Average Type that has been selected for the Ergodic is the same one used for the Moving Average. Refer to the information here on setting the Draw Style for a Subgraph:
Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Draw Style

The other option would be to add a separate Moving Average study to the chart which is based on the Ergodic study. The advantage to this is that you can select a different type of Moving Average.

We have attached a Study Collection to this thread that contains 2 Ergodic Studies, one that has the Erg Signal Line turned on giving you the Moving Average based on the selected MovAvg Type in the Ergodic study. The other Ergodic Study also has a separate Simple Moving Average that is drawn in the same region.

Refer to the information here for how to use a Study Collection:

As to what Moving Average and what Length to use, those are personal choices. Just try different values until you find one that works for what you are looking for.
