Yes, this is the obvious question. I do not know why time-based bars are the exception. IMO, the 'Include Columns With No Data' setting should print a time based bar at equal intervals, and not wait for the next data to arrive. There are so many obvious problems with this, that immediately users would begin to notice and generate immediate complaints. This simply makes no sense.
