We are a bit confused by your statement that the TPO Value Area Lines works fine for getting just the evening session, as both studies are essentially the same and have the same inputs. In which case, neither one should give you what you are looking for, as they are not setup to only look at the Evening Session. There are a few different ways to do what you want - here is one option: Use a combination of the Volume by Price study and the Extend Bar until Future Intersection study.
